The tiny little place where I belong. From 9 in the morn to 7 after dusk.
Do you have a place to belong to? besides the home grounds?

Soul Mate

This poem actually spoke to me. I'd like it to speak to you too!

Twin flames
... born of one
... created at the same moment in time
... burning endlessly throughout eternity
... one always connected to the other

... She opens her heart to those she touches
... at best her flame flickers
... His life path mirroring hers
... as his flame weakens

... Until their eyes meet
... bodies joined through the great rite
... spirits joined in cosmic pleasure
... their flames burn once again as one
... strong... warm.. tender.. perfect

... Pulled apart by circumstance
... each flame burning in solitude.. weakens
... until such time karmic lessons are complete
... Then and only then can these twin flames
... burn again as one.. strong..
... Throughout all eternity

Learn it the human way

"Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves. We have to make our own mistakes. We have to learn our own lessons. We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore. We have to understand that knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying."**Grey's Anatomy

Life could not just be the teacher we had back in school could it. It has to give us the lesson first and be the teacher afterwards. How not right.
Well obviously nothing is right if I keep measuring it up the scale of norms. Lol

"Still sometimes we have to see for ourselves"
I have seen for myself, how I could do in relationships. I have been a friend, a lover, a sister, daughter and a wife, and I cannot thank my God enough to give me a flavor of each of life's phases. Though a lot more has to come, but what has, sure has been significant.

"We have to make our own mistakes"
We have to burn our own hands to learn t he intensity of fire and what is hot. Cannot just sit at a distance and imagine things. I have made my share of mistakes and taken lessons from it like an obedient student. Not really passed with grade 'A' but have come a long way through. If I would not have loved and lost, I would not have been able to agree with 'it is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all', and yet there is so much in me to love all the way through.

"We have to learn our own lessons"
Our own skin is where it is comfortable. I have lived those days where I had no teacher, no help and in those days I have learnt that without a teacher I can make it through, because my roots are strong. I am a happy person at heart, just polluted with the sad happening and influences of this world.

"We have to sweep today's possibility under tomorrow's rug until we can't anymore."
Today will always show something which might or might not happen tomorrow. I will keep on hoping and I will keep on believing until the day I change my name from Dawn to Dusk :D I have faith and that faith is in the Creator who has abundantly influenced the way I do things. Today please show me the possibilities but do give in me the efficiency to work my way up, even if I don’t get it in the end. Though it will be great if I do.

"We have to understand that knowing is better than wondering, that waking is better than sleeping, and even the biggest failure, even the worst, beats the hell out of never trying."
If I said I love you to him before he confessed, well I don’t feel ashamed even the slightest bit. I feel happy that I influence him in some way. He thought he didn’t love me and my 'I love you' changed it all. I could have spent my life wondering how it all could have been and been so miserable. But today I am at peace because what I have thought of, I have said. Nothing is better than saying what you believe in, because later down the line of life, we think back and then the if and but debate takes over. Which is the stupidest of all debates. I never want to be in a position where I have to feel so bad that I puke.

p.s. never watched Greg's anatomy, but whenever somebody tells me 'watch it for the blah blah', I do it, because like I said, I don’t wanna sit and wonder and waste my time :D
Don’t waste time. Today is a possibility for making you a much better person than you are tomorrow.

A Philo-Foursome

The name does not really suggest what the post will be about, and obviously I will not keep you hanging. I just ripped this off [with decency] from a fellow bloggers page and this is entirely taken from BBC. Without wasting much of your time I will hit right at it so that you may comment and ponder if necessary.

P.S. Broadway is dark tonight :D

My life is general has been hooked by the threads of philosophy, and this is something I believe in rather just a couple of questions which need answering.

It's World Philosophy Day - an opportunity to contemplate one's very
existence and whether computer monitors really exist, says David Bain.

Here is my shot.

SHOULD WE KILL HEALTHY PEOPLE FOR THEIR ORGANS?
Suppose Bill is a healthy man without family or loved ones. Would it be ok painlessly to kill him if his organs would save five people, one of whom needs a heart, another a kidney, and so on? If not, why not?

Ahem. Is Bill not entitled to life if he doesn’t have some people to look forward to like all of us? Does he not have his own aspirations and yearnings? He might be making better use of himself than those five others who have it all but that which they need for survival. Life is a gift unto us, but it is the sort of gift which we will be answerable about on THE DAY. We have our individual rights to live in the capacity we have been entitled to. Beyond that is not our business, not anyone's business. The no ok is because it is his luck that he has a healthy body and not the luck and time of those who dont have it.

ARE YOU THE SAME PERSON WHO STARTED READING THIS ARTICLE?

Consider a photo of someone you think is you eight years ago. What makes that person you? You might say he she was composed of the same cells as you now. But most of your cells are replaced every seven years. You might instead say you're an organism, a particular human being, and that organisms can survive cell replacement - this oak being the same tree as the sapling I planted last year.

I have been totally replaced by a new me. Years is too much to consider, I am not the same person I was two minutes ago. We as human change with the tick of the minute. Not just the physical changes, but the mental refinement or deformation which takes place is all change within us. From the day I was born, until the day I die, I will constantly acquire a shape, size, form and entity which will be different, unique and outstanding in some context.

IS THAT REALLY A COMPUTER SCREEN IN FRONT OF YOU?

What reason do you have to believe there's a computer screen in front of you? Presumably that you see it, or seem to. But our senses occasionally mislead us. A straight stick half-submerged in water sometimes look bent; two equally long lines sometimes look different lengths

No. It is not a computer screen. It is a window into my soul and a window I take a view from and see so much happening around me. I will equal it for myself. When I see myself in the mirror and see a reflection of myself, that is one me and when I can't see myself but the world can see me, which is another perception. In two ways, this computer screen is not a screen but a window.

DID YOU REALLY CHOOSE TO READ THIS ARTICLE?

The only cause of reading the article was my fate which bought me this. I did choose to read this article because the line of my fate directed me to the grounds of HFM's blog and thus the BBC page and I could not help myself but be inspired. When change has to come, it is routed; all you got to do is follow the light and be there. And hence here I am.

Fashion ka Jalwa

Director: Madhur Bhandarkar

Writers:Niranjan Iyengar (dialogue) Ajay Monga (story)

Release Date:29 October 2008 (India)

Cast:

Priyanka Chopra as Meghna Mathur

Kangana Ranaut as Shonali Gujral

  • Mugdha Godse as Janet Sequeira

Arbaaz Khan as Abhijeet Sarin

Since this is a film from Bollywood, you can expect many sleazy bits to be toned down and self-censored.

But overall Madhur has done it once again after Corporate, Life In a Metro and Page 3. This one brings out the horror of being in the Fashion World, truly speaking of which is all glamor on the face and Rat Acid on Back Stage. One really has to be up to it to survive and it is not every one's game.

Story: The story is great and really realist that what India needs the most realistic movies like Fashion.

Music: Mar Jaava, Aashiyaana and Kuch Khaas rocked the movie.

Though I have a big issue with the name of the film, because more than the Models and their lives, not much was touched upon.

The performances are good. It's been a long while since Priyanka Chopra's been in a role of substance and she does a good job of carrying the film. I dont like her at all but yet nice work!

Overall, 'Fashion' is not a bad watch. I like that Madhur Bhandarkar attempts different kinds of films and the risky subject matters that scare away other filmmakers. Good attempt!

This girl is too skinny for anyone's liking, and she really needs to work on her beyond model skills. Especially her lingo. Damn it needs a lot of hard work!

and the moon shines on

The theme for this was 'Fantasy Art', though the concept of a moonlit night and a tree house have forever been on my mind, this image I caught off the web and imitated. Cannot even say who this was actually painted by or dones so graphically in the first place, but it gave my imagination a picture and hence the help in putting it on my canvas with perfect [almost].

I am always caught up in some fantasy or a fragment of my fantasy and that is how real life keeps distant from me. I love myself and my God for giving me the capabilities of doing things many just dream for but not quite get there :)

Gotta be Somebody

This time, I wonder what it feels like
To find the one in this life, the one we all dream of
But dreams just aren't enough
So I'll be waiting for the real thing, I'll know it by the feeling
The moment when we're meeting, will play out like a scene
Straight off the silver screen
So I'll be holding my own breath, right up 'til the end
Until that moment when, I find the one that I'll spend forever with

I caught the above lines from a NICKELBACK song and honestly it has swept me off my feet.

It is not just lyrical, it means a lot if you try putting your mind on the plate of its music and words.
"Cause nobody wants to be the last one there
Cause everyone wants to feel like someone cares
Someone to love with my life in their hands"

Why Not?
We all have a right to find that special one and be all joyful and make merry about it hmm.

I thought I'd found my 'somebody' in my hometown off the internet social community in the November of 2004. But time and feelings got the best of us both. All the wishes and dreams and anticipations I had with respect to the feeling and my feeling for that love are disappearing in the tocks of times. I love him still, and I always will.

I am certain that if either of us had the means, we could be together, but no worries, there is an eternal life we are both counting on :)
He is a wonderful man, a wonderful friend and we both deserve 'somebody' but the gap from here to there is increasing for now to shorten the gap in the life where we will be the sombody for each other :D

I can only have faith that everyone of us, 'There's Gotta Be Somebody OUT THERE'

And for my somebody who is out there.. Love you. Take Care.

Difficult women in my life

I caught this off the web and I find this really interesting.
How men take a woman for woe-man and the reason for all that is how negative their networking in their heads work.

The following is one such humor-ful yet really touchy excerpt of a man dealing with the variety of women in his life at different stages.

by SYED AMAAN AHMAD
Difficult women? Well, dude, difficulty is one of the synonyms of women. Why? Ah! Come on, don't you know? Psst, I will never reveal your secrets because we all men face almost same secrets, right?

Hmmm difficult women in my life? Let me think. Well, let's start with the first one. The moment I took birth, I cried like hell, not because I was surprised but because I was scared of lady doctor's sight. Oh! The way she held my legs was the limit of brutality, and the way she held me upside down and smiled. ENOUGH! She was the first sadist that I encountered. Period.

Then the next one? Well, my ma (mother), obviously. I knew I was the most innocent and the most easy going kind of kid. Who knew I had to face the endless wrath of her? Well, I was tortured like anything, literally. I was forced to drink milk every morning and her eyes used to make me feel as if I am in hell's deck, damn man, it was too much. After that, I was tormented. Yeah! I had to eat that goddamn breakfast till my stomach pleaded, 'No No No dude, I can't take this anymore'. And her killer eyes stared my innocent eyes. Then my vulnerable body surrendered to that bathtub! My poor, innocent body was tortured by shampoos, my eyes hurt, Ouch! (they still with the thought), with soaps I was roughed up. Whew! That was it.

Then? My teachers, who else dammit? As I explained, I was the most innocent guy anyone ever could imagine? Well, my teachers forced their power, they misused their legal stuff and asked me to stand out of the class every time. Oh! The reason? Well, you all know it, don't you? Those big big books, who will study? And every time got a big 'O'. Instead of feeling proud, they made me stand out or on bench in the class or whatever.

Days passed and I was expecting a newborn baby as my sibling. She came! I was excited as I got a chance to lay all my frustration on her. My sister, she was born. I waited impatiently to smash her, to take revenge of my years' sufferings. I had to wait for one more year, she did not talk, she could not talk for whole one year because she was surprised, where she is? Well, but I did not know that she was a born sadist. I became the only poor victim of her countless punches, kicks, vicious teeth bites on my soft, chubby cheeks. Hey hang on? Wipe your tears, this ain't enough, don't cry now! Well, and when my ma came to know about that, instead of saying a word to her, she punished poor me, while she sat on her royal throne, on mother's lap with a grisly smile. Now you can cry with me for this torture I went through.

College life was amazing! I got many chicks. Hot and rocking. I don't remember all my crushes but some girls who ditched me. Girls, you see, have no emotions at all. They just want to break your heart and move on. Well, I got a girl in my class. She was more than pretty and very demanding. We were together as perfect lovers for whole 5 days, you know? The 5th day, she saw me with her best (hot for me) friend in car. So? That was it! Over. She broke up with me for no reason. And this new (hot) girl broke up with me for my past relationship with her. Now now now. What do you think? These are what we call 'women'.

This ain't enough! The last woman who still is in my life. Destiny made me meet her. She came as if she was waiting since 100000 years for me. From the past 3 years, she is ruling me and my life as if....(God knows as if what). There are countless souls in one body. Yes, my woman is the goddess of all evils, whoops! Did I say too much? I can't even explain the tortures I go through every moment, I am not in condition to reveal anymore. My eyes are wet, I need a break. Can I get a tissue, dude?

________

and they think we dont have issues with men around us. it takes much to be a woman doesnt it. for a 'w' we are not whining women :D
